1.溫度
1. Temperature
沼氣發(fā)酵可分為三個溫度范圍：50～65℃稱高溫發(fā)酵，20～45℃稱中溫發(fā)酵，20℃以下稱低溫發(fā)酵。此外，隨自然溫度變化的發(fā)酵方式稱常溫發(fā)酵。

影響pH值變化的因素主要有以下幾點：一是發(fā)酵原料的pH值；二是在厭氧發(fā)酵啟動時，投料濃度過高，接種物中的產甲烷菌數(shù)量不足，以及在消化器運行階段突然升高負荷，都會因產酸與產甲烷的速度失調而引起揮發(fā)酸的積累，導致pH值下降，這往往是造成厭氧發(fā)酵啟動失敗或終止的主要原因。

沼氣發(fā)酵啟動和投料時帶入的一部分氧氣對沼氣發(fā)酵危害不大，不會破壞沼氣發(fā)酵的正常進行。這是因為沼氣池中存在一部分好氧菌和兼性菌，帶入的氧氣很快會被不產甲烷細菌中的好氧菌或兼性菌消耗掉，使池內保持厭氧環(huán)境，同時這一部分氧氣也使好氧菌、兼性菌與厭氧菌保持著動態(tài)的平衡關系，但為了保持好的厭氧環(huán)境，發(fā)酵過程中必須不漏氣。

發(fā)酵原料的碳氮比（C/N），是指原料中有機碳含量和氮含量的比例關系。沼氣發(fā)酵微生物需要的一定的碳、氮、磷等營養(yǎng)物質，才能正常生長和進行生命活動。碳元素為微生物生命活動提供能量，是形成甲烷的重要物質；氮元素也是構成微生物細胞的主要元素。這三種營養(yǎng)元素之間的比例，不論是好氧發(fā)酵還是沼氣發(fā)酵，氮與磷的比例是確定值，為5：1。碳與氮的比值則范圍較寬，以往的實踐認為發(fā)酵原料的C/N以（13～30：1）為宜，大于30：1效果不佳，小于13：1還可正常發(fā)酵。但是，實際上以人糞便為主要原料（C/N=3.9：1）的沼氣池也能很好的運行。所以，正常的沼氣發(fā)酵要求合適的碳氮比，但不嚴格，要重視沼氣池的啟動和培養(yǎng)好相適應的菌種，提高沼氣發(fā)酵細菌的適應能力。

如果沼氣發(fā)酵啟動時的接種物不夠，可能會出現(xiàn)啟動緩慢，經過很長時間，產氣速率仍然較低的情況；接種物質量較差，產甲烷細菌數(shù)量較少，活性較低，此時水解性細菌和產氫產酸細菌很快繁殖，而產甲烷細菌繁殖較慢，導致不產甲烷作用較快，產甲烷與不產甲烷過程的平衡失調，就可能造成有機酸的緩慢積累，發(fā)酵液pH值下降，沼氣池酸化，出現(xiàn)產氣慢和沼氣中甲烷含量低且質量差的情況。
